Good to see these 2 short films together showing the British at their funniest ; best.Place this alongside the ULTIMATE RONNIE BARKER COLLECTION and also Eric Sykes
"THE PLANK" boxset and you have a great starting point for the best of british comedy.

I can't help thinking that with a little bit of extra effort these could have been all time classics.
Futtocks End has some good moments but I found it to be too predictable and lacking in 'clever humour'.
A Home of your Own includes many famous names of the time and has a few highlights, although nothing really unexpected or side splitting funny.
In fact anybody who remembers building sites of that period may well consider this to be more of a documentary than a comedy. I have certainly heard many true stories which were funnier than this production.
